Hello again, I have two boys daniel will be 3 in sep and jordan who is 13weeks. So far im doing well im having a bit of trouble at night as Im up till about 12 with bubs and thats when i usually snack. I have been a bit naughty the last few nights and had a few things i really shouldnt of. Any suggestions on how to overcome this? Im on skip and one thing i have been doing is not having my piece of fruit at morning tea but rather saving it for night time when im feeling hungry.

Hi lee_83 Welcome, glad to have you along for the journey. With your positive attitude you will no doubt be at your goal before you know it. Congrats on the new baby, aren't they just a treasure - sleep deprevation and all. One thing you could try for the night time is to have some carrot and celery sticks (or any of the allowable veg) pre-cut up in the fridge and when you are up at night you can snack on them as they are free. Also try having a drink of water as our body can confuse thirst with hunger. Not sure if you are breast feeding or not but if you are then you will need that extra water anyway. Looking forward to getting to know you. Please let us know how you are going. Cheers Chris

Lee_83... congrats on the new one! I'm not encouraging you to cheat or anything i promise... but with such a young bubby it is important not to stress yourself out too much about your weight... i might suggest sticking to the normal program but allowing yourself something reasonably low in carbs and sugar at night... perhaps a portion of low fat yoghurt or something? just watch the sugar content.. i fint the yoplait forme vanilla awesome! and gives you some extra calcium which is important after having a bubby but yeh don't be too hard on yourself if you need an extra snack as you are probably awake longer than the average person and in my opinion you need to take this into considertation but if your careful on what you choose to snack on you'l be fine... just watch your portions and calories feel free to pm me if you like anytime.... oh the other option is if you dont want to have an extra snack have free food in the morning instead of MT then have that later... just bare in mind fruit is very high in sugar so is best eaten in the am where it can be burnt off

Welcome to the board Amazing. Good luck with your goal of losing weight. I would take your time with your weight loss though, set smaller goals that are more achievable and in the long term maintainable and you will definately succeed at this. Its been such a fantastic way of life and over 30 weeks into this I can not see myself without it. Life is so much easier and I am so much healthier but I just took each day one day at a time and never expected to much of myself, just small goals and huge milestones accomplished. Good luck! FGS

Welcome amazing,
Congratulations on taking the first steps to a happier and healthier you It looks like you are already on the right track with your exercise so the main thing would be to follow the plan and be honest to your self (the diary is great for this as you can see what and how much your putting in your body). I would also say if your able to get rid of all "naughty" foods in the house then do it, if you doubt your will power to fend off those cravings put healthier alternatives in your fridge and cupboard( one of my personal favs is the diet jellies from the supermarket they have nearly nil calories per serving and is great to feel " fuller" I have 4 bowls premade at all times in the fridge). Just remember the first week is the hardest, breaking the old unhealthy habits is your first test of determination... just put your head down and barge through all those thoughts of self doubt. I am unsure about the 15kg in the 2 months... it will all depend on your determination and conviction to it, your first week is normally a huge loss and will slowly settle to a steady number until your close to your goal and slow down ( this is just due to your BMI being lower due to not having to burn as much cos your not carrying all those extra kilos... even though it's lower it is a good thing!)I will be perfectly honest though, in my experience (only saying this cos it has been something that has knocked me to the ground) I am trying to get out of the habit of setting "goals" of time frame, weigh in, or weight goals..... only cos if you fail... it well sucks lol , I have and felt so bad like I didn't work hard enough, that I wasn't as good as others... etc.... It isn't healthy for your esteem, remember no to peoples journey is the same...
Remember your not alone, we are here if you need help...
Good luck!!!!!!
